a walk through

Sintra, Cabo da Roca & Cascais

Our tour leaves from Lisbon and we go on the beautiful Avenida Marginal until Cascais Village, where we will stroll through the Historic Center. Our second destination is the famous rock formation by the sea, the Hell's Mouth. The name of the location comes from the impact of the waves hitting the rocks, which often seems to make the ground shake. The sun reflecting on the water is very beautiful, as it mixes the serenity of the open sea with the strength of the waves that hit the rocks.

Following the same path, after Boca do Inferno, our route reaches the famous Guincho Beach, a favorite among surfers. Because it is very windy, the waves are bigger and attract athletes. Tourists are attracted by the unique beauty of the place.  A few kilometers later, we arrived at the westernmost point of Europe – the Cabo da Roca – whose mountains, 140 meters high, end next to the sea and so ends Europe. On site there is a lighthouse, a gift shop and a cafe.

After visiting Cabo da Roca, our destination is Praia de Azenhas do Mar, known for its ocean pool and impressive cliffs. Now it's time to let us enter the beautiful Sintra's Mountain, crossing bucolic and very old roads, where royal carriages passed, to culminate in the tour through the Historic Center of what is considered the most romantic village in Portugal.

This tour lasts 8 hours, from 9am to 6pm, with 1 hour for lunch. Minimum of 2 people and maximum of 6 people. Payment is made in cash at the beginning of the tour. Entrance fees to monuments and meals not included.

This tour is in the greater Lisbon area, west of the city, about 30km from the center.

The historic center of Sintra attracts thousands of tourists and is full of historical interest and beautiful monuments. Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point in Europe with impressive views. The entire coastal strip from here to Lisbon, passing through Cascais, is a great drive with lots to see.

For those who like a little history, but also open spaces with beautiful views of the Serra de Sintra and Cascais.

There are 6 palaces in Sintra and each one takes an average of two hours to visit. Choose one or two at most (count on queues!). Cabo da Roca is always very windy, a jacket is essential even in summer.
