Our next destination is Palace and Convent of Mafra, which houses one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Grand and imposing, the great Palace can be visited, as well as its church. Built in the 1700s, the place maintains much of its original character, with richly decorated halls.
We then continue until Cascais, where we stopped to enjoy its beautiful beaches, the marina and the historic center with its typical alleys full of cafes and restaurants. Then, on our way back to Lisbon, we entered the beautiful Avenida Marginal, always next to the sea and the Tagus River.
