a walk through

Sintra, Cabo da Roca & Cascais

This tour leaves Lisbon towards one of the most romantic destinations in Portugal: Sintra. There we visit the Historic Center, full of little shops and old buildings and where you can try a typical sweet called travesseiro. You will also have time to visit one of the town's imposing palaces if you are interested. After lunch, our destination is Praia das Azenhas do Mar, known for its ocean pool and impressive cliffs.

Now it's time to enter the beautiful Sintra's Mountain, crossing bucolic and very old roads, until we reach the most western point of Europe – the Cabo da Roca – whose mountains, 140 meters high, end next to the sea and so ends Europe. On site there is a lighthouse, a gift shop and a cafe.

Descending the Serra de Sintra, we arrive at the wild Guincho Beach, a favorite among surfers, as it is always very windy here and the waves are bigger. The unique beauty of the place invites you to stop and take a photo.

Our next destination is the famous rock formation by the sea, the Hell's Mouth. The name of the place comes from the sound of the waves hitting the rocks. When the sun reflects off the water, the scenery becomes even more beautiful, as it combines the serenity of the open sea with the strength of the waves hitting the rocks.

Our tour ends in the charming Cascais Village, where we will stroll through the Historic Center, full of life with many shops, cafes and restaurants.

This tour lasts 9 hours, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with one hour for lunch. Minimum of 2 people. From 4 people the total price is €300. Entrance fees to monuments and meals not included. Full conditions here
